Learning value beats peak efficiency

Beginners need accessible spare parts, readable firmware menus, and enough community documentation to troubleshoot. Flagship units can be quieter or more efficient, yet they punish first mistakes with expensive hashboards. In bootcamp we practice on units that forgive reseating drills.

Match the miner to your space

If your Bangkok flat cannot vent heat, do not buy based on hashrate charts alone. Measure the room, note air-conditioning capacity, and decide whether air cooling or immersion is realistic. Our single-model walkthroughs exist so you can test that decision against a physical chassis.

Used market caution

We show students how to inspect for bent fins, scorched PSU plugs, and mismatched fans. A cheap used miner that fails day-two firmware updates teaches expensive lessons. Bring seller photos to class; instructors will mark red flags without pressuring you toward a particular shop.

Buy after the bootcamp when you can

Several cohorts arrive having already ordered hardware. That works if you treat the purchase as provisional. Prefer booking the course first, completing the power worksheet, then ordering — your shopping list will be shorter and more accurate.
